Jackson Speedway racer Brent Underwood #15 is in the hospital in Jackson with severe pnemonia, coughing up blood. He is a very very sick man.

Tommy and Larry are both friends from seasons gone by. Tommy and his family will certainly be in our prayers. Though Larry went on to great things Tommy was a natural talent also and a really nice guy. Prayers for Tommy from here.

8-31-10 UPDATE: Tommy has gone on to meet with the Lord. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

Please pray for Eric Withem. Eric and his wife Michelle have a little boy the same age as our Nicholas. We took a baby/birth class together at St Francis Hospital. Eric has had a brain hemorrhage. That's the bad news. The good news is that the doctors give him a good prognosis for a full recovery.

We will pray for this little guy's full recovery. We will also pray for mom and dad too. Glad there is already good news.

Jack Dover was severely injured at a TNT race in Nebraska. He is at Creighton University in the I.C.U. in a medically induced coma on a respirator. Lungs are very badly bruised the right lung collapsed. Has a tube side to “blow it back up”. May have a bruised heart know when tests are done. Both eyes are black and blue and swelled shut, right eye is the size of a baseball. More test and X-Rays to determine extent of his injuries. Main concern tonight was to get him breathing again. He may have some broken ribs and they are going to check his spleen tomorrow as well. Pray for his recovery & his family.

9-2-10 UPDATE: PRAISE IN ORDER.Great news !!! X rays are perfect, and Doc gave him a full and complete release. Dr. said Jack has made a remarkable recovery. With that being said, Jack is still going to stick to his plan for this week end. And we will see how things go after that. Not only does Jack need to prepare himself, but he needs to get cars ready to race too

Please pray for my new friend Paula from Illinois. She just found out she has cancer in her lungs the kind that grows rapidly. She is going to start Chemo and needs lots of prayers for strength and healing. I pray God will touch her and heal the ugly cancer cells and make her start feeling better real soon. 8-29-10 UPDATE: I went to cancer dr. today...he was all smiles and says I am responding to the chemo really well and my blood work has been good...listened to my heart and lungs today also and says he can hear more air through my chest than he did before..the cancer in my chest is clearing up too...go for 3rd chemo treatment next friday and dr. said i will have ct scan in about 4 more wks to see how things r going...♥ :)
